Description

From F. R. Tallis, the highly-acclaimed author of the Vienna Blood series, comes the spine-chilling psychological thriller, The Voices.

Once you've heard them, you'll never forget them . . .

In the scorching summer of 1976 - the hottest since records began - Christopher Norton, his wife Laura and their young daughter Faye settle into their new home in north London. The faded glory of the Victorian house is the perfect place for Norton, a composer of film soundtracks, to build a recording studio of his own.

But soon in the long, oppressively hot nights, Laura begins to hear something through the crackle of the baby monitor. First, a knocking sound. Then come the voices . . .

From F. R. Tallis, the highly-acclaimed author of The Sleep Room, and the gothic horror The Forbidden, comes a new spine-chilling psychological thriller, The Voices.

About the Author

F. R. Tallis is a writer and clinical psychologist, with this professional background fuelling his page-turning psychological and supernatural thrillers, including The Forbidden and The Sleep Room. As Frank Tallis, he is the author of the Vienna Blood novels, now a BBC series.

Between 1999 and 2012 F. R. Tallis received or was shortlisted for awards including the New London Writers' Award, the Ellis Peters Historical Dagger, the Elle Prix de Letrice, and two Edgars. His critically acclaimed Liebermann series (written as Frank Tallis) has been translated into fourteen languages and optioned for TV adaptation.

Highly compelling, undeniably scary, with a final payoff so horrific it's hard to shake, The Voices is clever. * SFX *

Creepy. CREEPY . . . A genuinely disturbing story . . . As things take a sinister turn you will end up looking over your shoulder - towards the end of this I could barely put it down. * http://lizzy11268.booklikes.com *

Absolutely Fantastic

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
