Description

The Pogglin year is 1635 in the country of Pogglinburg, and the celebrations were underway for the Feast of the Day of New Hope. Yet, before the sun had set, the entire country was plunged into despair! That evening, the acclaimed Pogglin sorcerer and adventurer, Mr Lucian Snuzz, had enjoyed the Feast Day in the company of his oldest friends, Sir Septimus Pulpit and Artimus Whistlecraft. None of them could have predicted the tragedy that would unfold before their eyes. Now the safety of their nation hangs in the balance, and Lucian and his friends have no choice but to venture into the wild, uncharted lands of Empraktos-Larris. Racing against time, they meet new friends and adversaries along the way as they journey through fantastical and dangerous regions. Their mission is to seek a legendary Tree which holds the power of life. Meanwhile, the malevolent Lord Chamberlain of the neighbouring land of Dondymaria is watching and waiting. Soon he will set in motion his diabolical plot of regime change, both in his own realm and in the unsuspecting land of the Pogglins... In an epic tale for ages 7 to adult, where ancient myth clashes with the deadliest 'cutting-edge' machinery, some unexpected heroes find the strength to question their most cherished beliefs, cling on to hope and fight against forces that threaten all they hold dear.

About the Author
Robert Kew was born in Hammersmith, London in 1964 and started drawing at 2 years old. He was sculpting in plasticine from the age of 5 and started having dreams of Sol-Larris from the age of 7 years old, that's when Lucian Snuzz came into his life and was his guide around the ancient world of Sol-Larris. At 8 he was sculpting in clay and in 1982 he became a professional sculptor. In 2006, Robert had two successful exhibitions revealing the world and creatures that populate Sol-Larris. The first exhibition was held in Kettering and the second in Boston UK. Robert now lives in Northamptonshire.

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
