Chloe Smart is five-years-old. He, and Chloe's other new-found friends, are soon caught up in solving the alarming case of The Fairy Garden and who has trashed it! Can they discover who the culprits are and rescue the garden from its poor state?

Maggie Smart is a poetry-loving grandmother with Parkinson's, whose condition has provided scope for many humorous poetic outpourings. She enjoys writing in verse, especially for children, cherishing the look of wonderment on their faces when they are introduced, through a fairy story or mythical adventure, to the magic of poetry.
