Description

Superstar artist Darick Robertson (The Boys, Transmetropolitan, Happy!) is joined by acclaimed artists Simon Bisley, Clint Langley, Colin MacNeil, and Gabo for the second pulse-pounding volume, written by Eric Peterson and Joe Aubrey!

In the future, unemployment and job dissatisfaction are sky-high. When you've got nothing left to lose, you join the Intergalactic Postal Service (IPS). Its courier fees are steep-and they go only to whomever ultimately fulfills the delivery, making every run a comically violent free-for-all between the most ruthless mercenaries in the cosmos!

A Space Bastard can be anything-pervert, dope fiend, refugee, drunk, thief, or psychopath-but they don't care what you call them. They approach their work with a near-criminal appetite for self-destruction. They don't want to be district manager or employee of the month or a pencil-pusher. A Postal Carrier stays because they've found a home, or even a family, in the IPS. Under the volatile leadership of Postmaster General Roy Sharpton, the Bastards are constantly at each other's throats trying to settle scores and earn big money. And the only thing they hate more than losing out on a delivery is anyone stupid enough to try to end their way of life... or anyone who does them wrong.

About the Author
Joe Aubrey is a board-certified psychiatrist and co-writer/co-creator of Space Bastards. He spends most of the day seeing patients and the rest of his time thinking of new ways to kill futuristic postal carriers. He and his wife live in Arizona with a tremendous collection of alcohol and two increasingly entitled children. His greatest success thus far is successfully concealing his true self from close friends and family by utilizing a bland combination of negative emotions and sarcasm. If reincarnation is possible, he'd like to come back as someone with a more interesting bio.

Eric Peterson is a comic book writer living out of the dusty mountains of Ahwatukee near Phoenix, Arizona. He is the co-creator of Space Bastards, which he considers his third child (the other two being actual breathing human children). Eric grew up making movies in his backyard. Space Bastards is what happens when a person does that for many years and then thinks, "What is the one comic we could create that surely would just be too uncanny for people to grasp or love?" Eric Peterson currently spends his time coming to terms with an audience actually grasping Space Bastards.

Darick Robertson is an American comic book artist, writer and creator with a decades-long career in the industry. His notable works include co-creating the award winning Transmetropolitan, The Boys, and Happy! He has illustrated for both Marvel and DC Comics on characters including Batman, The Justice League, Wolverine, The Punisher, and Spider-man.

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
