Reviews
"A love letter to classic British literature, Oliver never feels like a cheap pastiche, but rather the clear passion project from its creative team." -Comic Book Resources
"A post-apocalyptic riff on Oliver Twist that is way better than that pitch sounds...If you've read Transmetropolitan, you don't need me to tell you that Darick Robertson is one of the best serialized comics artists working today. Robertson is the whole package: he can do action, facial expressions and body language, dialogue, and scene-setting with what looks like incredible ease." -The Seattle Review of Books
"This is Oliver with a twist but Whitta sets us up with an entire world that is waiting to be explored...Whitta has used the character as a way to open the door to something darker and more mysterious. Dare we say: we want some more?" -Newsarama
"Intriguing...Gary Whitta and Darick Robertson manage to craft a tale that's just different enough from the other post-apocalyptic tales that saturate the shelves." -ComicBook.com
"One of those adaptations that is inspired by the original work while being its own distinct work...does a great job of immersing readers in this dark, new world." -Multiversity Comics
