About the Author
David Lucas is the internationally acclaimed author/illustrator of Peanut, The Lying Carpet, Halibut Jackson, Whale, Nutmeg and The Robot and the Blue Bird. Born in Middlesbrough, he grew up in Hackney and studied at the Royal College of Art. He lives and works in central London.
