Description

Who's limping strangely down the hall
with outstretched arms and a groaning drawl?
A zombie! Could it really be?
I hope he won't come after me!

You race to class, but turn to see he's sitting in the desk right next to you!

But odds are you'll probably be okay, because this is no ordinary zombie.

This zombie doesn't want to eat your brains-he wants to eat your books! Hide your textbooks and your fairy tales, because the little zombie is hungry and he doesn't discriminate between genres. Will the school library be devoured, or will the children discover something the zombie likes to do with books even more than eating them?

This monster book is silly and fun, with a strong message about kindness and friendship. The little zombie teaches kids not to jump to conclusions and to give everyone a chance. And when a real-life mummy shows up, the zombie is the first to step up and offer the mummy his friendship-and to teach her a few things about the joy of books. This is the perfect monster book for little ones who want a thrill but aren't looking for anything too scary.

Reviews
"Three second grade classes at my school highly recommend this book. It's a great text to share at Halloween or as a kickoff to a reading event. Elementary students have zombies on the brain. Yes, I meant to do that. When you can combine this hot topic with cultivating a love for reading, you have a win-win situation." -NC Teacher Stuff

"Clever humorous descriptions." -Kirkus Reviews

"A cute story of a monster at school." -The Herald Times

"The perfect book for your young zombie fans." -The Stacks of Life

"The illustrations are cute, and not at all frightening, even for the youngest of readers . . . a charming Halloween-themed children's book that touches on the joy of reading with a bit of monster shenanigans." -Portland Book Review

"A book my kids have asked to read over and over again!" -ParentingChaos

"I Want To Eat Your Books does three things (and does them wonderfully): 1. It celebrates the awesomeness of books and reading 2. It encourages kindness and friendship 3. It never gets old, no matter how many times you read it." -Word Spelunking

"This energetic, funny book will appeal to youngsters. Parents and teachers will appreciate the message about reading." -Can You Read Me a Story?

When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
