Description
A thrilling novel written by former MI5 agent Anthony Bryan, with interest from national media that would culminate on the book's release.
About the Author
Anthony Bryan was raised by his widowed grandmother in Hampshire, England and was educated at St Edmunds. He joined MI5 in the early 70s at the behest of Lord Cowdray. He operated in the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East, where he was captured and tortured, before working in the political section back in the UK. He was asked to set up a shadow security company that, at a time of civil unrest in the UK, with the union movement at its strongest, was enormously successful. The three-day week brought enormous demand for private security companies. Throughout this time Anthony kept his relationship with MI5 before he was seconded to MI6 and was sent to the USA in the 80s during the War on Drugs. Nowadays Anthony lives between homes in London, Singapore and Manila.
Reviews
Being set in the 70s, it was refreshing to read something that wasn't solved by a smartphone app or a couple of searches on the Internet! When a job in Saudi goes wrong, Richard and Charlie least expect it to come back and haunt them on their next job in Northern Ireland or be linked with the kidnapping of a Cabinet Minister's daughter. A pacey tale, with intrigue and suspence and some chapter endings that just beg you to read on. I had to finish the final third of the book in one sitting. - Simon Whaley
