About the Author
Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children's books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA. Leire Salaberria has exhibited her work in different countries around the world. Her work has been selected to appear in Bologna Children's Book Fair 2012 and IV Ibero-American catalog of illustration 2013 and 2014. In 2014 she won an Honorable mention at the Sharjah International Book Fair. Since 2011 when she published her first book, she's illustrated several books in Italy, Mexico and Spain.

Reviews
Written by the renowned author and psychologist Susanna Isern, and charmingly illustrated by Leire Salaberria, "Fox Tells A Lie" with its deftly embedded message in support of being honest is an ideal and recommended addition to family, daycare center, preschool, elementary school, and community library collections for children ages 4-8. - Midwest Book Review, Children's Bookwatch

The cute and very literal artwork features humanoid animals in simple outfits and homey settings. The color palette is a very attractive mix of earth and jewel tones and the art looks like watercolor accented with pencil, all in service of flat, childlike illustrations with lots of familiar details. The author is a professor of psychology and this book is part of a series about small childhood dilemmas. - Youth Services Book Review

Available in English and Spanish editions, this picture book provides a valuable lesson on white lies and the importance of trust among friends. - Starred Review Foreword

A lesser story might have ended on this somber note, but this one has a surprising twist. - The New York Times
This story featuring humanlike animals teaches the importance of trust within friendships and the power of telling the truth. - Children's Lit

When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
