Description

A new collection of illustrated Christmas adventures, starring twelve incarnations of the Doctor plus many of his friends and enemies.

Inside this festive book of Doctor Who stories, you'll find timey-wimey mysteries, travels in the TARDIS, monster-chasing excitement and plenty of Christmas magic. Find out what happens when the Third Doctor meets Jackie Tyler, the Seventh Doctor and Ace encounter an alien at Macy's department store, and the Ninth Doctor tries to get Rose a red bicycle for Christmas.

With stories by Jacqueline Rayner, Colin Brake, Richard Dungworth, Mike Tucker, Gary Russell and Scott Handcock, plus twelve original illustrations by artists including the award-winning Rob Biddulph.

Bright and brilliant, these tales are filled with monsters, mayhem, merriment and plenty of Christmas magic.

About the Author

Jacqueline Rayner (Author)
Jacqueline Rayner has written many books, audioplays and comic strips, many of them set in the world of Doctor Who, including the number one bestseller The Stone Rose and two 'Quick Reads' for World Book Day. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked at BBC Books as an editor on their Doctor Who range.

Richard Dungworth (Author)
Richard has written over forty books for children and began his writing career as an in-house author, working on non-fiction, first at Usborne Publishing, and later at Ladybird Books. Since going freelance, he has created original stories to support a wide range of exciting licensed properties such as Doctor Who; Wallace and Gromit; Transformers; MI High; Captain Scarlet and The Incredibles. Richard lives in Leicestershire with his wife and two young children. Richard's rather unfortunate surname comes from a village in South Yorkshire, where his ancestors lived. It means 'a dwelling with dried cow pats for roofing'. Lovely.

Mike Tucker (Author)
Mike Tucker is an author specialising in books for children and young adults, and has written several original 'Doctor Who' novels, a number of 'Merlin' novelisations, and original fiction for other shared universes. He has also written numerous factual books relating to film and television, including a history of the BBC's Visual Effects Department, where he used to work.

Alongside his writing, Mike works as a Visual Effects Designer, and his company - The Model Unit - recently won a BAFTA Craft Award for its miniature effects work on the 50th anniversary 'Doctor Who' episode 'The Day of the Doctor'.

Gary Russell (Author)
Gary Russell was one of the script editing team for Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, and is the author of many novels and reference books in the Doctor Who range. A former editor of Doctor Who Magazine, he also was the producer of Doctor Who audio dramas for Big Finish Productions for eight years. He lives in Cardiff.

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
