Original Indian language titles from the regional cinemas are transliterated - whether in Assamese, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malyayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Sanskrit, Sinhalese, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu or other languages. SANJIT NARWEKAR, a journalist, author, and scriptwriter, previously worked as news editor for a leading Indian film trade weekly, Screen. He writes extensively on Indian film and other subjects and has edited several books. He has also written scripts for documentary and feature films.
