Reviews
A contemporary and thorough resource for those seeking to explore and apply both creative and technical understanding, combining practical knowledge and approaches to design and development with smart textiles in a logical, visually appealing and accessible way. * Jayne Mechan, Manchester Metropolitan University, UK *
This is an excellent and extremely informative book ... This book will be especially valuable to undergraduate students at the beginning of their higher education i.e. 1st and 2nd years, who wish to develop basic understanding and skills in the field of wearable electronics. The strength of this publication lies in its diversity which makes it attractive not only to fashion students, but also to students undertaking courses in product design and other relevant creative disciplines. Another strength of this publication is its layout and visual organisation, which is interesting and engaging, yet easy to follow and navigate. Overall, I would strongly recommend this publication to students and academics, with little or no previous experience in the field but who would like to learn how to plan, organise and deliver a project incorporating textiles and electronics. * Anna Sadkowska, Coventry University, UK *
