Derek the Skeleton (Red's Rainbow) Red 9781802632651

Are you scared of skeletons?

Derek really wants a friend, but everyone in school is scared of him. The other children won't let him join their games or even sit with them in class. Until they learn that no matter what anyone wears on the outside, we're all skeletons underneath!

About the Red's Rainbow Series:

Join a cast of fun new characters, including a timid skeleton, a lonely ghost, a song-writing peacock and a cake-loving unicorn. Featuring beautiful illustrations and entertaining stories, these picture books teach young children the importance of kindness, inclusivity and healthy eating!

Struggling with dyslexia as a child, Red loved to weave stories in her head rather than putting pen to paper. Red started writing more once her little boy came along. Her stories are filled with hugs and humor for children and adults alike, and are ideal for bedtime reading - the perfect made-by-mum books! Things that make Red happy are big bowls of spaghetti, cats and Halloween.
