The story in Blameless is more ambitious than the previous two offerings, which is great. We head over the Channel into France and Italy. There are threats and antagonists to face simultaneously in England and Europe. We’re introduced to the mysterious Templars, and given a lot more insight into the history of preternatural lineage and see the supernatural community as a whole in a tizz over exactly what Alexia’s unborn baby may signify. There is also the usual raft of delightful new characters to encounter. Unfortunately, I feel our beloved characters come across a little thin in their portrayal, in lieu of the story's expanse. They just don’t seem to receive the same depth of personality as usual. But as always, fun, fun, fun.
