About the Author
Yu Akinaga is an illustrator and children's book author based in Tokyo. She is excited by the magical moments scattered through our daily lives that stimulate our playful spirit. Yu's first picture book, Let's Make a Pizza! (Sekai Bunka Publishing), was published in 2022. Toast is her English-language debut.
