Description

The first year of the GLAAD nominated series concludes. The more the crew finds out about the woods, the deeper the mystery gets. With Clay and the Duke teaming up to try and force the school into servitude for the New London army, the kids need to think up a plan to save their peers, and fast. And with Adrian uncontrollable and on the loose, no one knows what his next move will be.

James Tynion IV is an emerging star and protege of New York Times Best Selling writer Scott Snyder and has written numerous Batman-related series for DC Comics. Tynion was a key author in DC's recent rebranding announcement; The Woods #1 sold out of its first printing the day of release. The Woods #1 was Boom Studios highest ordered original series since 2009 when they published Mark Waid's Irredeemable; The Woods follows in the footsteps of YA survivalist Sci-Fi horror set by popular franchises like The Hunger Games, Battle Royale, and Divergent; Tynion's Memetic was nominated for a GLAAD Award in 2015, and recently made Booklist's Top 10 Graphic Novels for Youth list in 2015.

About the Author
James Tynion IV got his start in the pages of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's acclaimed run on Batman at DC Comics in early 2012, where he co-wrote the backup stories for the best-selling Court of Owls and Death of the Family storylines. He has since written stories for Detective Comics, as well as writing the ongoing series Talon, and Red Hood and the Outlaws. He lives and writes in New York City, and is consistently amazed that people are actually letting him work on comic books professionally. He alternates between taking in the most grisly horror media he can get his hands on, and trying not to get choked up while listening to musical theater soundtracks. You can find him on Twitter @JamesTheFourth, or on his Tumblr. Michael Dialynas is an Athens, Greece based artist who has illustrated the worlds of AMALA'S BLADE, SPERA, SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN and currently THE WOODS for Boom! Studios.

Absolutely Fantastic

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
