The little yellow hermit crab learns how to overcome a very difficult situation. Finding inspirations in the books she likes to read, she is able to create something useful and enjoyable to help other creatures' everyday life. This story was originally conceived by the authors for their beloved nieces and nephews, to help them understand the importance of wearing facial masks during the 2020 pandemic. "During the Covid-19 lockdown we missed our nieces and nephews a lot. To feel a bit closer to them we wrote them this story. As the lockdowns are reduced, the need for personal safety and social courtesy are not. It is likely that all our lives will be forever changed and so we hope that you will all wear your face masks, pleated, twirled and fitted so well. They will keep you safe both inside and out and make you feel fancy when walking about. This story was originally for Robyn, Finley, Cameron, Isla and Emma but in a global pandemic we are reminded that we are all connected. We are individuals and we are one in seven billion. This is for you all. Stay safe. Much love, Mark and Mel". A clever story coming from the depths of the coral reef.
