About the Author
Alistair Moffat was born in Kelso, Scotland in 1950. He is an award winning Writer, Historian and former Director of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Director of Programmes at Scottish Television. He is the founder of Borders Book Festival and Co-Chairman of The Great Tapestry Of Scotland.
Susan Mansfield is a journalist and writer. She spent twelve years as an Arts and features writer for The Scotsman and continues as an art critic for the paper. Since becoming freelance, she has worked across journalism, editing, copywriting and PR. In 2018 she was the joint of the Jack Clemo National Poetry Award.
