About the Author
Writing has always been a hobby and cathartic experience for Ig. Turning his passion into a fulfilling career as a professional author has been one of his greatest life achievements. Ig worked all around the world as a chef. Born in rural Northamptonshire in the 60's. He moved later to Derbyshire to finish his studies, continuing his young working career in the surrounding restaurants and hotels. Ig then moved to London to work for King Hussain of Jordan. America then called - and Ig worked in New York, Palm Springs, Palm Beach, Los Angeles and Hartford, working as a personal chef. Back to Europe - Monte Carlo, Russia - cooking and working for various celebrities, Prime Ministers, Presidents, politicians, and many members of the British Royal Family, including HM The Queen and Princess Diana; receiving an award in the Kremlin, presented to him by The Queen. Ig continues his work as a chef, but now he puts pen to paper as both an author and illustrator, to apply skills he has kept on his back-burner for most of his career. Having produced many fine oil paintings and portraits in his spare time, Ig now uses these skills to create his own beautiful illustrations, which help tell the stories he has conjured-up in his own remarkable imagination.
