An impossible mission to save the world from a fur-ocious enemy? Check.

When Tunde sprouts wings and learns he's all that stands between Earth and total destruction, suddenly school is the least of his problems. Luckily, his rag-tag group of pals have got his back, and with his new powers, Tunde is ready to fly in the face of danger.

So what if he can't even stand up to the school bully? He's the boy with wings - this is his destiny.

No pressure then. . .

Reviews
This book is as laugh-out-loud funny as you'd expect, but it's also packed with super-charged thrills, characters you really care about and a whole lot of heart. I think The Boy With Wings is the start of something really special * Bestselling author and illustrator Nadia Shireen *
Hilarious and heartfelt ... interwoven with messages about family, friendship, courage and belonging * The Guardian *
... Always looking for genuinely laugh out loud funny books and [The Boy with Wings] 100% delivered. THANK YOU. * Louie Stowell, author of Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Being Good *
Apart from getting picked on by school bullies, Tunde is an ordinary boy - so why do his mum and dad insist he must never run, or do sports? When a mysterious peril threatens Earth and Tunde suddenly sprouts wings, everything starts to become clear. Hilarious and heartfelt * Imogen Russell Williams, The Guardian *
Henry's first book for children is as funny as might be expected but it's also quietly thoughtful and poignant, examining ideas of heritage, family, love and belonging in a way that lifts the Chosen One troupe out of the territory of cliche * Books for Keeps *
It's a delightful romp of a tale - addressing issues of racism, diversity and refugees face on. * School Librarian *
It's a fast-paced adventure with video game-like qualities that will have you immersed with all the baked treats of a Masterchef getting the ingredients wrong . . . This book is a feast for the senses and one of the best books of the year. * Vincent Ripley *
