Description

When humanity came face to face with insectoid aliens from outer space intent on taking over the earth, it never occurred to anyone that they would come out the other side of the battle that followed the losers. But they did. Now, with what remains of the human race in tatters, a small band of misfits scraping a living in the remins of a city question what it means to be truly alive in a world where surviving asks everything of you, and hope is just a memory.

About the Author
Mathieu Bablet is a French creator born in 1987. A fan of horror and series B films, Bablet graduated from the ENAAI in Chambery (teaching in applied arts & image), and sent a presentation of his first comic book to Ankama editions. The Beautiful Death, or "La Belle Mort," was an immediate hit, recognising this young artist of Grenoble as an incredible talent.

Reviews
"Bablet draws the characters in a unique style with emotion practically dripping off the page." - Comics: The Gathering

"A quiet, melancholic look at survival after the end of the world, with breathtaking visuals and a superbly paced script" - Multiversity Comics

"An unusual and rewarding reading experience...reminiscent of Samuel Beckett's play Endgame." - Kabooooom

"Pulled me in right from the start and felt genuine in its depiction of humanity post-apocalypse. Walking Dead fans should try this out!" - Adventures in Poor Taste

"Rich and dense and desolate." - Comic Bastards

"Apocalyptic comics don't get much more refreshing and exciting as this. 4/5" - Nerdly

"A beautiful aesthetic and an engaging atmosphere" - Comics Verse

"An urban nightmare, the richly detailed world Bablet has crafted is more a character than the figures themselves." - ICv2

Absolutely Fantastic

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
