THE INSTANT SUNDAY TIMES TOP FIVE BESTSELLER

'Moves at a cracking pace and, with neat plot twists and cliffhangers, is page-turning fun' Guardian

Seven resistance fighters will free the galaxy from the ruthless Empire - or die trying.

After Eris faked her death, she thought she had left her old life as Princess Discordia - heir to the galaxy's most ruthless empire - behind. But joining the Novantaen Resistance, an organisation opposed to the Empire's voracious expansion, throws her right back into the fray.

Resistance fighter pilot Clo has been given a mission: infiltrate an Empire spaceship ferrying deadly cargo to gain vital intelligence. A task made all the more difficult when she's forced to partner with an old enemy - Princess Discordia herself, Eris.

They discover more than they bargained for on the ship: fugitives with first-hand knowledge of the Empire's inner workings. With this information, these women might just bring the Empire to its knees. But the clock is ticking: Eris's brother Damocles, new heir to the throne, plans to disrupt a peace summit with the only remaining free alien people, ensuring the Empire's total domination. Unless this band of unlikely rebels stops him, millions will die . . .

About the Author
Elizabeth May is the author of the YA fantasy trilogy The Falconer (The Falconer, The Vanishing Throne, The Fallen Kingdom), and short fiction published in the anthology Toil & Trouble. She was born and raised in California before moving to Scotland, where she earned her PhD at the University of St Andrews. She currently resides in Edinburgh, Scotland, with her husband and two cats. Originally from sunny California, L.R. Lam now lives in cloudy Scotland. Lam's previous books include the BBC Radio 2 Book Club section False Hearts, the companion novel Shattered Minds, as well as the award-winning Micah Grey series: Pantomime, Shadowplay and Masquerade. Her short fiction and essays have also appeared in anthologies such as Nasty Women, Solaris Rising 3, Cranky Ladies of History, and more. She lectures part-time at Napier University in Edinburgh on the Creative Writing MA and at times misses the sunshine.

Reviews
This first collaboration from Lam (Goldilocks) and May (The Falconer) revels in the frenetic energy of its girl power-infused, space operatic premise * Publishers Weekly *
The first book in a duology is a witty, fast-paced, feministspace opera * Booklist *
Each of the characters in Seven Devils is distinct with her own character, personality, backstory, and soul * The Roarbots *
Unabashedly fun! * Pajiba *
Rebellion is bloody business, but necessary - and with an ensemble as memorable as the one you'll find within the pages of Seven Devils...quite a lot of fun, to boot * The Fantasy Hive *

When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
