Description

The paranormal? It's all nonsense but proving it might just get them all killed. When a master vampire starts killing people in his hometown, paranormal investigator, Tempest Michaels, takes it personally ... ... and soon a race against time turns into a battle for his life. He doesn't believe in the paranormal but has a steady stream of clients with cases too weird for the police to bother with. Mostly it's all nonsense, but when a third victim turns up with bite marks in her lifeless throat, can he really dismiss the possibility that this time the monster is real? Joined by an ex-army buddy, a disillusioned cop, his friends from the pub, his dogs, and his mother (why are there no grandchildren, Tempest), our paranormal investigator is going to stop the murders if it kills him ... ... but when his probing draws the creature's attention, his family and friends become the hunted.

About the Author
At school, the author was mostly disinterested in every subject except creative writing, for which, at age ten, he won his first award. However, calling it his first award suggests that there have been more, which there have not. Accolades may come but, in the meantime, he is having a ball writing mystery stories and crime thrillers and claims to have more than a hundred books forming an unruly queue in his head as they clamour to get out. He lives in the south-east corner of England with a duo of lazy sausage dogs. Surrounded by rolling hills, brooding castles, and vineyards, he doubts he will ever leave, the beer is just too good.

Reviews
"Brilliant, addictive and fully deserving of five stars, at least."; "I read this book after I was referred to it by my husband. He fell about laughing at it and said it was a must read for me. I did enjoy it and it is not only funny but interesting too. The action in this book doesn't stop; with chapters packed with excitement and fun."; "Fabulous story, really enjoyed reading this. The main character Tempest Danger Michaels, is great, he grabs you in as the story evolves, he is interesting, intriguing and clever. Plus the other characters are all very individual add so much to this story. I enjoyed the style of writing and look forward to reading the next book. Highly recommended."
