About the Author
Since the publication of his first title in 1976, Colin has produced over 70 books, many of which he has both written and illustrated. Colin is renowned as a humorous poet as well as for his storybooks and is recognized as one of Britain's leading author/illustrators. His Walker titles include three books about Captain Abdul and his motley pirate crew; Nighty-Night!; Potty Poo-Poo Wee-Wee; We're Off to Look for the Aliens and When I Grow Up. Emma Chichester Clark studied at the Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art from 1980 to 1983, where she was taught by Quentin Blake. In 1988, she won the Mother Goose Award for the most exciting newcomer to children's book illustration.
