Description

With his son grown and his marriage dissolving, Xavier, a 48-year old writer, finds himself deep in the heart of a mid-life crisis. Setting out on his own, he finds emotional freedom and true independence. When he meets Leah, a young and vibrant artist, he rediscovers the beauty of unexpected love. Together they set out to lead a life of spontaneity and youthful adventure. When Leah becomes pregnant, Xavier quickly realises that his life has indeed started over, just not in the way he expected.

About the Author
Xavier Betaucourt is a French writer, born in Lille, France. He studied literature and film before becoming a television journalist. After creating his own magazine dedicated to the 9th Art, he dove into the world of sequential storytelling. Mixing his background in journalism with his passion for illustrative art, he wrote two nonfiction comics: Bouclier Humain (Human Shield) with Grand Angle, then Noir metal (Black Metal) through Delcourt. In 2016, he released Le Grand A (The Big A), a biographical comic through Futuropolis, and most recently, his autobiography with Too Old for You.

Yannick is a French writer and artist. He released his first book, Albin and Zelie, in 2012, which launched his career as a comic creator. He collaborated with writer Betaucourt to create Too Old For You, which was originally published in French in 2015, with La Boite a Bulle.

Absolutely Fantastic

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
