About the Author
Both James Bennett and Rebecca Beirne teach at the University of Newcastle, Australia, respectively in History and Film, and Media and Cultural Studies. James Bennett is the author of 'Rats and Revolutionaries': The Labour Movement in Australia and New Zealand, 1890-1940. Rebecca Beirne is the author of Lesbians in Television and Text after the Millennium, and editor of Televising Queer Women: A Reader.
