About the Author
SHAHIDHA BARI is a critic, academic and broadcaster. She is a Professor at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Among her many roles, Bari has been a judge for the Forward Poetry Prizes, the Baillie Gifford Prize and the Booker Prize 2022. She writes regularly for The Guardian, and presents arts programmes for BBC Radio and TV.
