Description

To help mend her own broken heart, Emma Lee began drawing these tragically funny comics about falling in love and breaking up.

Hidden Heartbreak follows the progression of a doomed relationship from blissful beginning to devastating end, capturing the all-encompassing and blinding euphoria of love as well as the crushing doubt and disappointment that accompany a breakup. A book for anyone who's had to "get over" an ex, Hidden Heartbreak offers lightness, laughter, and a reminder that you're not alone.

About the Author
Emma Lee is the pseudonym of an artist originally from Philadelphia, PA. She studied fine arts in college and, since graduating, has worked in the fashion industry for eight years as a designer. After having her heart broken for the second time by a man with an affinity for bird shirts, she decided to share her story with others in the form of brutally honest cartoons. She strongly identifies as an INFJ and enjoys laughing, crying, and a dry manhattan.

Reviews
"The way the artist captures the feelings, innermost thoughts, and things I didn't even realize I felt into illustrations is incredible. Her relatable images always makes me breathe a sigh of relief knowing I'm not alone in my thoughts and feelings, and what a gift that is!" (Break Up Bestie)
"Lee started on [Instagram] in February 2017 looking for an outlet for her artwork about the pain of a breakup, with no intention of turning it into a book. 'I simply wanted a space to be able to express myself, be creative and work through some emotions,' Lee told Forbes.com." (Forbes)

Absolutely Fantastic

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
