Description
Selina, Ryfon, and Felix have claimed the fourth Orb from its resting place, but their triumph turns to disaster when an undead horde awakens. Pursued down the treacherous cliffs of Heartland Mounts, every step is a battle - twisting rock faces, crumbling paths, and rivers that promise death to anyone who slips. And the Skeletaurs - massive, horned warriors who feel no pain - won't stop coming.
One thing is certain: if they fall here, Cadefor will take the final Orb - and with it, the entire realm of the Openlands.
The titles in this series of Hi-Lo books are for students aged between 10 and 16 years with a reading age of 10 years. They utilise a range of dyslexia-friendly features to support pupils' reading, including off-white paper, an easy-to-read font and text separated into bite-sized chunks. The letter and paragraph spacing has been carefully considered to reduce visual stress. While these books have instantly appealing characters and gripping storylines, the language and sentence structure are intentionally written so that students who are reading behind their chronological age can succeed in reading them.
