Description

A cerebral Batman thriller that uncovers Bruce Wayne s buried past and tests the limits of justice crafted by the screenwriter of the 1989 Batman film. Bruce Wayne is accused of espionage and faces the loss of his company, his reputation, and his freedom. As Batman investigates, he uncovers a sinister conspiracy tied to a secret government project and a forgotten chapter of his own past. Introducing Henri Ducard, a mysterious mentor from Bruce s early training days, Blind Justice explores themes of identity, justice, and the cost of secrets. Collects Batman #430-435, Detective Comics #596-603, Batman Annual #13, Detective Comics Annual #2, and stories from Secret Origins #36 and #39.

About the Author
Sam Hamm is a celebrated screenwriter best known for penning the screenplay to Tim Burton s Batman (1989), which helped redefine the character for a new generation. His work on Batman: Blind Justice marked his debut in comics, bringing cinematic storytelling, psychological nuance, and espionage intrigue to the page. Hamm s interpretation of Bruce Wayne introduced Henri Ducard, a key figure later adapted into Batman Begins, and deepened the mythos with a focus on moral ambiguity and personal history. Notable Works include Batman (1989 film), Batman Returns (story), Batman '89 (comic series). Alan Grant was a prolific and influential comic book writer whose work helped shape the tone of Batman throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Known for his gritty storytelling and sharp dialogue, Grant co-created iconic villains like Anarky and brought psychological depth to Gotham s criminal underworld. His collaborations with artist Norm Breyfogle are considered some of the most definitive Batman runs of the era. Notable Works include Detective Comics, Batman, Shadow of the Bat, Lobo, Judge Dredd.

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
