Description
In Adventures of the Skeleton discover how your 206 bones support your body, how they connect to muscles and what the musculoskeletal system is anyway.
Each book in this series focuses on a certain part of the human body, using the body part as an approachable cartoon character in a series of relatable everyday situations. This blending of simple scientific explanation with cartoon artwork makes the science highly accessible. Comic strips are interspersed with explanation spreads to consolidate the learning, too. Perfect for readers age 8+ or anyone wanting their first book about the lungs!
Books in the series:
Adventures of the Lungs
Adventures of the Heart
Adventures of the Gut
Adventures of the Skeleton
Don't miss the incredible Adventures of the Brain, and discover how the brain thinks, feels and works with the rest of the body.
