    I liked this book, but I wanted to love it.

    The beautiful prose kept me reading, along with my favourite character, Jin. And the cover art! A thing of beauty! The great cast of chatacters was a treat, although they felt just a little nieve. I have to admit the story felt lacking when it came to the surounding world, asif restricted within the bubble of the main characters. Which was a shame because I really wanted to experience more of what this world could have offered. My biggest gripe was the heavy-handed romance. Everyone at every conceivable turn was being romantic towards someone, and it was layered on with a shovel. Oh, and the blatant cliffhanger ending was far more annoying than tantalising. Wow, that seems a little negative. I did like this book. Honestly, I did, and I'm sure I'll read the next.
