Description

Love and life is a struggle in paradise: welcome to Limon. Ramiro leaves the British drizzle and his beloved fiance Yoss to investigate his family history back home in Costa Rica. What starts as an innocent fascination with an old family photo album leads to conversations with the older generations and revelations he is not prepared for. This intimate and evocative graphic novel uncovers a family secret, set against the idyllic Caribbean coastline in one of the most beautiful countries in Latin America. Author Edo Brenes weaves together the heartbreaking and humbling stories of three generations.

A beautiful and emotive graphic novel from award-winning author Edo Brenes, which weaves together stories from across time to piece together a narrative that will stick with you for years to come.

For a first graphic novel (...) it's sturdy step, and Brenes should become a talent whose work is anticipated. -- Karl Verhoven * The Slings & Arrows Graphic Novel Guide *

Absolutely Fantastic

This was my first time ordering from SciFier but it definitely won't be my last. When it comes to buying books online the packaging needs to be good, SciFier were great they used bubble wrap to make sure they arrived perfect. Amazing range of books that majority are lower priced than most book retailers. Wonderful service, I'll definitely be recommending to everyone. Thank you.
